We are excited to announce our upcoming trips for the 2023 Fall Marching Band Season! We have an awesome group of students this year and are ready to take on the road. We look forward to the band creating a lifetime of experiences, unforgettable memories and continuing the tradition of excellence. The Fall Tour will start with the band attending its first competition since the pandemic. Attending band competitions allows our band to receive valuable feedback from professional adjudicators of marching, music, dance, flag, percussion and drum majors. This event is The Central Alabama Marching Festival held at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama on October 21st. The Fall Tour will conclude in Birmingham, AL at the Magic City Classic Parade and Game on October 28th! This event will allow our students to march in the televised MCC parade and attend the Magic City Classic Football game to enjoy the college bands performances. The total cost inclusive of both trips is $250. This includes Lunch and Dinner for the Montgomery Trip on 10/21 and breakfast and lunch on the Birmingham Trip on 10/28. Luxury Motor Coach accommodations for travel are included in this cost as well. The $250 trip fee will be broken into 2 payments. $125 due 9/8 and the final $125 is due 10/2. All trip payments will be made on Charms. Upperclassmen and parents are familiar with this system. Freshmen and Falconettes will be sent special instructions for Charms payments.
Because of the team nature of the marching band activity both trips are mandatory.
