Band Camp Info - Please Read This Entirely

We hope you all have enjoyed your summer vacations! We are elated to announce band camp and pre-camp will take place at Lindley Middle School 7th and 8th! Please see the schedule below.​


      - Band Camp Dates (ALL BAND STUDENTS INCLUDING FALCONETTES)
    - Monday, July 19th through Friday July 23rd from 4 PM to 8 PM
    - Tuesday, July 27th through Thursday, July 29th from 5 PM to 8 PM

****ALL PRE-CAMP AND BAND CAMP REHEARSALS ARE @ Lindley 7th and 8th!!!!!****
Drop off and pick up - will be at the Lindley 7th/8th bandroom along the right side of the main building. 
Band Camp 2021 - Band Camp is for ALL members of the band (horns, percussion, auxiliary) to learn marching band performance techniques and the upcoming field show music. Students should report to the Lindley 7th/8th band room by 3:45 PM. Students are responsible for eating lunch/dinner before arriving at school each day. We encourage students to bring additional hydration daily such as water and/or Gatorade to supplement what will be provided at camp. 
Camp Tips 
Be sure students dress in comfortable clothing for the summer weather conditions. For example, athletic shoes, light shirt and shorts, a hat, sunscreen, and bug repellant. Sandals, slides, and flip-flops are not acceptable footwear for band rehearsals as students could injure themselves performing marching maneuvers. Students should begin hydrating by drinking plenty of water and Gatorade. Please stay away from sodas or other sugary drinks around and during the weeks of band camp. 

Instruments
Students that need an instrument should report to band camp Monday, July 19th at 2:30 PM. Students that have already been assigned instruments should report to camp at 3:45 PM with their instrument and accessories such as mouthpieces, sticks, and straps. 

Covid Information
As effective June 2021 per the Cobb County School District, wearing masks is optional for students and staff during school related functions. With that said please keep in mind if you are comfortable wearing masks you are welcomed to do so. We will continue to pre-screen students for covid symptoms through completion of wellness checks before rehearsals/performances. 


Freshman/Sophmore Band Fees

The first payment ($50) and second payment ($125) is past due for band fees for our freshman, sophomore, and drum major members. The 3rd and final payment is due by August 1st. If you are a freshman or sophomore and need to catch up your fees please click the following links below:
